
INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS, AT THE ORGANIZATIONAL LEVEL, RELEVANT IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBALIZATION
This articles study information is linked to communication analysis from the process and semiotic perspective by suing information transform communication influencing the efficiency, and development of any business. The study also involves different analysis in the role of organizational context, such as values, beliefs, attitudes, and expectations. Interpersonal skills are important to the organization. Knowing that the communication can be perceived as positive or negative, communication should be reviewed as a resource component in the functioning of the organization. The elements of the fundamental factor of communication is: initiator (transmitter), receiver (recipient) channel (vehicle-used in the broad sense), message and effect.
Now we will start recognizing communication as an exchange of signals (audible, tactile or visual) based on the existence of meanings shared between these who communications are social context dependents. Interpersonal relationships can be positive or negative relations based on how people carries the information processed. There are two key concepts that interpersonal relationships are based on. (1) Communication competence, which is knowledge participants needs to communicate. This knowledge is based on what to talk about, when to talk, what to speak, when, where and how mode. Experts have not yet developed a scale to assess these skills.The next skill is community of communication. This consist of family work place of study, social group, which will impact their business. Interpersonal communication is crucial in the success of organizations. It is said, in this study, that the most interpersonal communication skill is listening. Even in the global communications, interpersonal skills are used as an advantage, for any entity regardless of scope, size or efficiency.
